Welcome
A story, a song, let it come and let it go….
“Kids, if I’ve told you once, I’ve told you a hundred times. One man’s trash is another man’s treasure.” Carl H. Carpenter
Since 1993, Regina has been motivating and inspiring audiences throughout the country with a diverse repertoire of world stories, folktales, myths, music and personal stories of her hometown Clayton, NY on the St. Lawrence River in northern New York. In each story and with each telling, Regina mixes mirth, music and everyday events into myths and muses about life, death and nothing in particular.
“Regi Carpenter’s CD “Diving and Emerging” is wonderful. Her voice is intimate and the perfect instrument to bring you to her childhood on the St. Lawrence River, where Regi had underwater tea parties, fished with Wonder Bread bait, and watched a mother run down to the river after her son has drowned. These stories touch the mysteries of life.”
-Jay O’Callahan
Equally adept at storytelling and musical performances for children and adults, Regina has won the Parents’ Choice Gold award, Storytelling World award, and her kids once said, “Do you know my mom, she’s a famous storyteller?”
As the National Storytelling Network’s 2008 JJ Reneaux Emerging Artist Recipient, Regina was cited for ” your spontaneity, your natural and flexible relationship with the audience, your delight in performance, and the versatility of your repertoire.”

“Regi Carpenter has a voice that dances. It can, at a moment’s notice, be light as a feather, frisk about playfully, or leap with sudden power. Best of all is the sheer joy she communicates in telling her tales.”
